July 12:
As I sit here in the Nairobi airport waiting to fly back to America, I look at some local news on my laptop from Raleigh, NC. Then it dawns on me it's mid July, and a month of my life is gone since I left home. But wow, we have seen so much gained for eternity in this last month. Results we have seen include 983 professing Christ as Savior and 577 committing to sexual purity through the True Love Waits program, as well as programs started for some 30 widows that now have a hope for the future.
God is amazing. I see the ministry in the Lake Victoria region of western Kenya like a snowball rolling down a mountain. God is bringing many souls to Himself that He planned long ago. This last month of my life has not been wasted. It it a privilege and a blessing to be used by God in this way. I leave Kenya with mixed emotions. I'm leaving so many people that I love so dearly. But I'm going home to some others that I also love so dearly and look forward to sharing God's work with churches and small groups.
What's the vision? I'm not stopping with what I've have seen accomplished. Our September trip is not far away as we will disciple the followers and conduct a marriage conference for hundreds that are planning to attend. Then comes the December trip when possibly 800 children will attend camp. God is blessing Interlocking Ministries because this was His plan set in motion long ago, and now is the time for these people to discover Christ and His plan for them.
God is doing so much more through this ministry than I ever expected. Thank you each of you for your part. Ephesians 3:20

Middle of the June/July trip
From Bobby by email:
"These are the teachers from Kakrigu. (See first group photo.) After I taught a Bible story I debated about teaching True Love Waits because most of the students were quite young with just a few older ones. But I felt led to teach it anyway. At the end I asked for commitments and some students stood, but also the two teachers to my left stood. These two ladies were not married. After the pledge they stood and gave testimony about how powerful the TLW club is in front of the school. They copied down my TLW notes as fast as they could until I left there. We will see that they get their own copy later. We praise God for their excitment for the program. It was worth the walk to that school just for that."
"Second picture is of a boy also at Kakrigu. This boy with the torn pink shirt stood and gave testimony about how good God is. He was the worst dressed in the school, but the best attitude inside. Wow!!! I wonder if people in America could give a testimony like that if they had as little as him.
If that doesn't bless you enough, you need to see this last photo. "Andrew is praying with a lady that wanted to commit to TLW after hearing his purity testimony. She accepted Christ about 15 minutes before this photo. She served lunch to us today."
Please continue to lift up this team in prayers: Bobby, Scott and Andrew: may the Lord continue to pour out his strength, his wisdom, discernment and truth.
Pray for the visit to Wami Primary school and Wami beach open air service. Pray for hearts to be soft toward God and His plan for them.
Pray for the boat trip to Takawiri beach and the open air service.
Pray for the chicks that may be delivered during this weekend sometime for the widow poultry project.
Thank you for joining me in prayer,

Widow Hope
Where's hope? Struggling with HIV, widowed,
and sexually abused as she tries to work to feed herself and child.
Interlocking Ministries has begun group meetings with this lady and
others like her to pray with her, give job training and encouragement.
There's HOPE.

What cost $10.82?
What
cost $10.82?
In calculating the March 2013 mission trip costs, we figured that it cost Interlocking Ministries $10.82 per person professing to receive Christ during that trip! Thank you to those who have donated to Interlocking Ministries! That’s value! That’s God’s work in the hearts of people... because she’s worth it!

No one can "buy " salvation, but how can they hear unless someone tells them? How can someone tell them unless they go? Can you donate to Interlocking Ministries?

If you buy a kid some shoes...
If you donate a few shoes to kids that can't
afford shoes, it's nice, it makes the donor feel good and the kids
happy. When you donate a LARGE box of shoes to the community, you put a
shoe salesman out of business! This man is eeking out his
living selling used shoes on a blanket. He has to feed his family too.
Makes you think... yes? This is why we, at Interlocking Ministries,
strive to find the balance between relief assistance, rehabilitation and
development.Tuesday, May 7, 2013
Christian Youth Brings Bobby to Give Gospel to Unsaved Family
Wanzala worked on our camp staff last December. She is pictured in front with the flowered skirt. This past March she asked if we could share the Gospel with her family. Her whole family accepted Christ. Her father, was the leader of a cult church on the island. He is pictured in back with a hat. He is now so excited because he now gets to go back to that false religion and share with them he has found the truth!
