Johnson is teaching the veterinarian Tobias and pastor Eliazar about
chickens. Caring for laying hens is a good way for the widows of the
church to employ themselves and provide for their children.
Interlocking Ministries gave a grant for them to start a poultry project
with 100 chicks in July. They decided to plant a garden nearby as
well. The chickens should lay their eggs any day now!
